From may, under the influence of stimulating consumer end in the traditional aluminum peak season, domestic aluminum ingots enter the destocking cycle, and aluminum prices fluctuate upward. At the beginning of June, due to the falling prices of alumina and anode on the cost side and the market's pessimistic sentiment on sino-us trade friction, aluminum prices dropped sharply. It was not until the news of norsk hydro's production suspension, Alcoa strike and the tightening of domestic environmental protection policies that aluminum prices fluctuated upward. However, after the end of August, due to the global macroeconomic slowdown, as well as domestic heating season environmental protection is less than expected and other effects, aluminum prices downward shock, also showed a more abnormal "season not prosperous" phenomenon. Aluminum prices have since been falling and have been below the cost line since late October, although there have been occasional signs of a rebound and fundamentals have been lackluster, making it hard to build momentum.
