Microchannel Tube is a key component used in heat exchangers, especially for battery coolers.
Basic Structure: It is a flat aluminum tube with multiple fine, parallel channels formed through extrusion. When viewed in cross-section, these channels resemble the reeds of a harmonica, earning it the nickname "harmonica tube."
Core Function: The tube serves as a passage for the coolant (refrigerant). As the coolant flows through the channels, it exchanges heat with the environment outside the tube (e.g., the battery), achieving cooling or heating as needed.
